Daniel Toutain Sensei, 7th dan, from Wanomichi Takemusu Aikido, has graciously confirmed his participation as the guest instructor for our dojo's 2023 International Aikido Seminar. This represents an invaluable opportunity for all participants to learn from a seasoned instructor.

Our dojo's mission is to bridge the past and present of Iwama Aikido, and hosting Daniel Toutain Sensei emphasizes this commitment. He was a longtime student of Morihiro Saito Sensei, ensuring attendees get a genuine glimpse of Iwama Aikido's history and evolution.

In addition to the Aikido sessions, attendees will have daily yoga classes with Sonia Tomioka Sensei, Daniel Toutain Sensei's wife. Sonia Sensei is not only a highly qualified Ashtanga Yoga and macrobiotic nutrition instructor but was also the head uchideshi at the Iwama dojo under Saito Sensei during the 90s.
